In the scene where Obiwan interupts Yoda's Jedi class - to find information on the planet that Jango/Boba were hiding.....

If yoda agreed to let Anakin be trained....why couldn't Anakin have joined the classes (Yoda's class was full of young kids - around Anakin's age when he first met Obiwan - can it be assumed that he may well have been in a class similar in the 10 years that passed between the timelines of the movies? - or was he by Obiwan's side every minute since Phantom Menace?

Perhaps it was that the padawans in the classes were trained since they were really young, where as anakin was too old to go into such a class, as he would have missed some of the lessons. also in order to train anakin up yoda thought that obi wan could provide the constant attention and lessons to anakin while yoda pondered the galaxies future.

Those kids looked younger then 10 to me, more 6 to 8. And they have oviously been in training for some time.

Actually I think those kids look younger than anakin.

Anyhow, maybe they've been training for a couple of years by now.
