Will there be an Episode 7,8, 9?

Wasn't there books written after the first trilogy? Will Lucas be interested in created 3 more episodes for a new generation? My guess is LucasFilms and hollywood executives would back the financing for the next

To my knowledge there will be nothing further. IIRC there was talk about eps. 7, 8, &9, but that was it. Maybe 20 years from now we'll get them...or when GL dies and some one else buys the rights to SW.

I sure hope they continue making it. I can't imagine life without new Star Wars movies. Thankfully I've been alive to enjoy seeing all of them the time they originally came out in theaters.

Maybe they'll make ep.s 7,8 and 9, but more importantly make a new Ep1, 2 and 3. This whole 'it's all a story about Darth Vader as a boy growing to a man' is boring shit. Annoying kid grows up into annoying teen (makes Wesley Crusher seem likable and cool by comparison) grows up to be the galactic Hitler.
