What period of time did AOTC span?

How long did AotC last? As near as I can tell, it took at least a week. That's the shortest possible time I can come up with. Now that seems awfully short to me, and certainly some extra time could be built in the travel. After all, I personally have no idea how long it takes to get from Coruscant to Kamino or Naboo. Though we do know that Tatooine is quite close to both K and N. Probably less than a days travel.

So, does anyone have a good idea how many days the movie spans?

It seemed like about a week of so to me. Which is a very short time to fight a war. Luke says to Obi-wan in ANH. 'You fought in the clone wars?' I would call AOTC a battle. Not a war and certainly not several wars. Then again the term 'Clone wars' could refer to many battles to come in the next movie as well as the initial battle in AOTC.

If I remember correctly, Yoda says (in AOTC) something along the lines of 'This Clone war has begun' or something. I can't remember, but it gives you the impression that battle was only the beginning.

They fought the first battle in the war. Yoda says 'bgun the clone war has' and then we see thousands of Clonetroopers boarding ships and heading off to battlefields unknown.
