That horrible matte painting of the Millennium Falcon in ROTJ when Han tells Lando to take it. I can't concentrate on what's being said in that scene, I'm focusing on just how *awful* it looks.
I think Lucas must have spent too much time on that crappy dance number in the Special Edition, because he left a lot of bad old effects in Jedi, much more than in the other two.

Yep, all those shots in the hangar are pretty ordinary. For me, the matting in the rancor fight is also a real low point. Why on earth didn't Lucas fix those it, I'll never know. Do you think they just did not look bad to him, or what? Too much effort put into tweaking obscure details and not enough put into fixing stinkers of mistakes.
Mr E.
P.S. If you're talking about the worst dialogue in all the Star Wars movies... TESB between Leia and Han when Luke is recovering. Phew!
'Who's scruffy?' Oh, dear...
And Threepio nattering on about turning on the 'thermal heater'. Jeez, the THERMAL heater, George? Oh, puhleeze....

You gotta be kidding! You thought this was worse than the ridiculous mouth movements of that eggplant-headed Viceroy guy and his sidekick? Those damn masks look like their motors are burning out. The mouth makes 2 or 3 distinct shapes, but yet they have better elocution than some of the humans! Embarrassingly dumb.
Tied for a close second has to be the sped-up camera gimmick used in the Death Star chase scenes (when Luke and Han were rescuing Leia and being chased by stormtroopers) in order to make it look like the doors were closing really fast.

I can't stand to watch Super Star Destroyer crashing into 2nd Death Star on RotJ. Ugh. It's so obviously miniature effect.

IMO, the worst is the SE Jabba in ANH. Awful, truly awful.

The scene early in TPM when Obi-Wann and Qui-Gon slip down from the ventilator to the floor of the hangar on the Trade Federation ship.

Agreed. What's the technical reason for this, anyway? Inconsistent lightning on Ford/Williams in the foreground that doesn't match that on the painting in the background? Just plain painterly backdrop? The fact that both actors look like crap

The one that bothers me the most is Vader's white lightsaber in ANH. After he drops Obi-Wan, Luke blasts the doors and we see Vader walk towards the closing doors... and he's holding in front of him a White Lightsaber. I guess it wouldn't be that bad, but for the Black costume that he's wearing.
All the others that have been pointed out just don't bother me as much as this...
Oh... and the 'I lost artoo.'... Artoo gets hit... we see the explosion and in the next shot Artoo is in one piece again... no sign of any damage. Hmm... now that I think about it, don't they only show one X-Wing in Vader's sights when he fires at Wedge and Biggs? We should have seen the other X-wings in front.
Those bother me. The others are at least showing what's supposed to be there... may not look right, but it's what's supposed to be there. Showing a perfectly fine artoo after he's been hit is bad... showing one X-Wing instead of the three that are there... that's bad. And showing a white lightsaber prop... uhhh... painfully bad.
