It's frigging Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
Just got the trilogy on DVD from Korea - and only saw the 2nd movie in bits and pieces. So, I sit down tonight to watch it.
I stopped watching after the 'banquet' seen. This is the most laughable, implausible, inexplicable, inexcusable waste of film it's ever been my sorry task to watch.
It makes AOTC look like Chariots of Fire...

Some of us old folks have lived through decades of Really Bad Films. Surely you've heard of Roger Corman? His films made some of the Planet of the Apes genre look like pure genius

I believe that is the ONLY movie I ever got up and walked out of the theater during. I just couldn't bare another minute of it...

You forgot Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Superman III, 8mm, or the ever-classic: Battlefield Earth.

With the exception of Battlefield Earth which I haven't seen, I enjoyed all of the films you mentioned over Temple of Doom.

That's really funny. To original post. I love movies, I average 2- 3 movies a month (theatre, not counting videos, TV etc) and that's for probably the past 25 years. I enjoy all movies just for the entertainment value, if it is a good or excellent movie that just adds to the enjoyment, making it that much better. So that said, the only movie I almost walked out of (and to this day wish I would have) was ISHTAR, absolutely the worst movie ever made. IMHO anyway. John 'Bigamy is having one wife too many. Marriage is the same.' Wilde

Is Ishtar really so bad? I thought the songs were pretty funny.. 'Telling the Truth can be dangerous buisness'
