the novels

So I've recently become hooked on the novels and I keep finding referances to 'the emperor reborn' who appearntly truns luke to the darkside for a while. But i have no idea what book that's in and I'd love to read it. I've talked to a couple of retailers but they can't help me without an author or title. Does anyone out there know?

Luke was seduced to the Dark Side in the 'Dark Empire' graphic novel series. He is later recovered by Leia.

iii) In what story did Emperor Palpatine return as a clone?

Again in 'Dark Empire', a clone of Palpatine is discovered, who then succeeds in turning Luke to the Dark Side (see above). The clone story also continues in 'Dark Empire 2' and 'Empire's End'.

It was in the Dark Horse comic series of Dark Empire and Dark Empire II. The Emperor had supposedly resurrected himself and had taken control of the Imperial Remnant. He launched a pretty successful campaign against the New Republic and had almost took back control of the galaxy had it not been for Luke's cunning and betrayal of the Emperor. See, Luke had joined ranks with the Emperor in the hopes that he's save his sister and the Republic from certain death at the hands of the New Empire. He figured that he could successfully mess the Empire's conquest from the inside. He almost failed, had it not been for Leia to help him back to the Light again.
