I'm sick of people referring to AATA as 'Episode III', so, here you go =)

Please stop posting this message. Everyone who is interested read it already what seems like weeks ago. It was original, it is now annoying. You are ruining whatever credibility you have by whipping an already dead horse.

With all due respect.

I really feel bad for whoever came up with this.

It is not scientific proof of the title, a theory of a pattern. Unless you have actual proof that Episode III will be called AATA, and I mean documentation from Lucas himself, then you have no basis for this.

'Kennedy'

Agreed, Even George himself is unsure at this moment in time what exactly the title will be... episode III was only given a project name last month!

ILM begin work in 3 months, while Lucasfilm will not be starting on anything until about March 2003. However, Lucas Licensing have released more information that was added to starwars.com a few weeks ago. A link to epIII should be active from the end of 2003, although you can actually now find it in some pages...

Ditto. Anyway I'm gonna be worried about this guy's mental state when Lucas announces the title and it isn't AATA...

And I'm sick of you insisting that everybody *must* refer to the movie with your made-up silly title.

If you're trying to make these three lines line up, you have to use a monospaced font, like Courier.

And I say:

alt.fan.starwars Episode 368221 THE EXECUTOR SCREWS UP

It follows all your requirements too.

To call something a 'scientific theory' you have to make predictions from it that can be tested. Even then, it isn't *proven*, but only made more probable. You have made *one* prediction that can't be tested until sometime in 2004, and until then it is just guesswork, no matter how well founded.

Are you planning to leave us before then? I mean, I can't believe that you'd leave yourself so open for ridicule as you have otherwise.

No, all it means that the concept of betrayal is brilliant. Expect that concept to be expressed somehow in Ep3s' eventual title..

That doesn't mean 'AATA' is a brilliant title. These movies are still mass-market summer blockbusters and for that genre, AATA is a lead balloon of a title. No sane business mind (and Lucas is a businessman) would choose

subject of the title, the 'Ally', is good... because we all know the movie is going to be about the Federation gaining power. Hence the 'turning' must be from good to bad. Thus 'Ally' would be Anakin, or maybe the planets descenting in the senate, maybe Obi-Wan turning away from his obligation to Anakin's training... all inherently good. It wouldn't be Palpatine, because we KNOW he's not going to turn away from the Dark Side to be Mr. Goodie-Two-Shoes... he may turn away from the Aliance and the Senate... but he would still have to be seen as good turning to evil, which already would be a far stretch.

In addition, there's another 'pattern', as valid as the ones you cooked up; that no title has the same letter occur twice in it's initials: ANH TESB ROTJ TPM AOTC

So AATA is not fitting the pattern (x 3!). Sorry... never happen.
