Genetically engineering clones isn't science fiction? Odd, I thought it was! As far the rest of the series: robots, aliens, laser blasters, and the like all qualify to make them Sci-fi movies. But I'm guessing you consider them fantasy, which, in terms of marketing, is linked together with sci-fi and that is why you will, so many times in bookstores, see a Sci-fi/Fantasy section instead of two separate sections.

AOTC was crap. TPM was crap...why stop there? ROTJ was crap. ESB was crap. ANH was crap.
Oh, and someone told me today that the Bible was hogwash...so the Bible is crap. Someone said the same thing about the Korran. It's crap. I heard the Egyptian heiroglyphs on the Sphinx's butt was crap too.
Thank god we can't think for ourselves. Imagine how difficult it would be to know what we're supposed to do, see and think?!?!

In AOTC, isn't the whole point that it IS (or, presumably, soon WILL be) a 'nightmarish scenario'??
Mr. Card seems to have missed the boat.

Yeah, but excessively moralistic, seeing as how Card is a Mormon. 'Seventh Son' and 'Red Prophet' appear to be inspired by the life of Joseph Smith.

hell yes! the Ender's Series and Shadow series are awesome. right up there with Tolkien and Dune.
the Earthfall series is good as well.
bur as mentioned before, very moralistic. check out Ender's Game for yourself.
