I think they both serve the situation well. I haven't heard any clonetrooper lines yet, but they look quite good, although Jango might have been a little more modest with the blatent copy of his own helmet.

As far as looks the stormtroopers look better, clonetroopers are too Battlestar Galactica in my opinion. The clonetroopers are better soldiers than the stormtroopers because their 'essence' needs to be updated regularly from Jango to keep the clones fresh in Episode 2 and in Episode 4 no more jango. That explains the bad aim from the stormtroopers.
