Hey there. I've been a fan of the Star Wars films since they first came out. I would like to read some of the novels to round out my knowledge of the whole Star Wars universe. Any ideas as to where I can find a timeline that shows where each novel fits chronologically? Thanks!

Of all the gin joints in all the world, Obu-tu walks into mine

Try the internet. I hear it's really good with search engines and things. On a serious note i very much doubt that GL reads the novels so they aren't really representative of anything. The only real star wars is what you see on film.

I typed this up myself from various resources on the web. I am confident that many of them are off by a couple years or so, especially the Han Solo and Lando Calrissian trilogies. All of the Prequel Era books are accurate, and I know that the first Thrawn Trilogy book is 9 years after ANH. Otherwise, I am estimated for many of them... If anyone else has read any of these books and knows exactly where they fit in relation to another, I'd appreciate corrections.

As seems to be the standard, I am using the year zero to represent the beginning of A New Hope.

All of the newer novels (the ones in the 'New Jedi Order' series) have a timeline inside the front of the book.
