Why didn't all the dead Jedi in the arena in AOTC fade away?

Why does every one seam to think that qui gon is going to be the one to show the jedi this 'NEW' trick. who says its a new thing. It might just be some thing that the members of the council know about. and again if it is all to do with having prepared to make yourselfe one with the force in your minde the jedi during the batel might not have had chance top do this, whilse fending of blaster fire and geting hit. I think it will be funney to save every ones predictions speculations random theories plucked from thin air and then in three years time read them and compare them to the story that lucas decides to give us.

After Anakin kills the first couple of raiders the scene shifts to the jedi temple, yoda is meditating and you hear Qui-Gon..this is when yoda talks about feeling Anakin suffering.

Is the version you were watching in the UK? This version only has Anakin kill a couple of Raiders, then it cuts to Yoda looking pensive as Mace Windu enters the room. Do we see more in other country's versions?

jepp, I think so, too. a jedy has to prepare himself for the death, with this knowledge his body will dissapear on his death. just as it happens when darth vader kills obi van, and obi van is looking shortly before at luke, the same as it happens at the death of yoda.

How then does Annikan learn the trick before the end of Return of the Jedi as he appears as a spirit alongside Obiwan and Yoda after his death.

It will have something to do with Anakin. It was blatant foreshadowing while in Tatooine he says 'I wasn't powerful enough to save her. But some day I will be!'
