I saw all three of the original Star Wars episodes in the theatre back in the 70's and early 80's. I really enjoyed ANH, and really loved ESB. But ROTJ, really left me disappointed. I enjoyed the first part of ROTJ, but the ewoks and the ghostly family reunion was just too sappy for me. Along came Episode I, and I again was not overwelmed. I was hoping that AOTC would restore my faith in the force. But I haven't seen it yet. I hear this one is more like ESB

It's really entertaining and fun.
But it isn't quite as 'good' as ESB. Go into it looking to be entertained, and you will be. Look for a serious, thought-provoking movie with believable characters, and you will come out filled with nitpicks.
