More on Sifo-Dyas: Lucas screw-up

When Obi-Wan first meets Jango on Kamino, he asks about Sifo-Dyas, who Jango says he's never heard of and sayws he was contracted by Tyrannus. The Kamino-ite who met Obi-Wan on the landing platform and has apparently been with him this whole time (including the meeting with the Prime Minister) appears not to to find this odd or have any input on the matter.

It's hard to explain this, because the Prime Minister was very candid about Sifo-Dyas, so the Kamino-ites apparently feel they have nothing to hide. The Kamino-ite in Jango's quarters also has no apparent comment on this Tyrannus person whose name just came up.

I can only conlclude that this is an oversight in Lucas's part. The

Taun We (the Kamino-ite) simply assumed that Tyranus worked for Sifo Dyas and recruited Jango.

Does Sifo Dyas have to recruit the DNA doner personally?

We sure wouldn't want to imagine a bounty hunter lying about that.

The whole 'did somebody order a million clones?' substory is just inane. Never mind who knew what when in front of whom when they knew that and when...

Again, it's just odd that this was contradicted so flatly in front of Taun-we (whose name I remembered but dared not attempt) with no counter-statement. And how could Jango have been involved in the project and lived on Kamino for 10 years and never hear the name of the sponsor, since the Kamino aliens had no apparent interest in hiding the name. I could buy that Jango was lying, and that makes the most sense, but the Kamino alien being present and hearing the statement complicates the issue.

Not a comment on the above directly - but a question - which actor provided the voice of the Prime Minister? It sounded familiar, but I can't find it listed.
