This might get answered in Ep3.....

Anikin has alot of these 'midiclorians'... but does it show somehow? Can he do some things, that other Jedis can't? Or is he better in some way?

way?

I think they're meant to let someone use the force the same way mitochondria let us use oxygen.

Go ahead 'Anders Lund', make my day... way?

It just means that he has a higher affinity for the Force. Someone with a low midichlorian count, Han Solo for example, can't use the Force at all because they don't have the level of midichlorians required to communicate with it. Anakin can do so with ease but it still requires belief and years of training. If he had not been identified by Qui-Gon Jinn and then trained by Obi-Wan Kenobi he would never have amounted to anything more than a great pilot with an uncanny ability.

Yeah... I thnik that it was a mistake too. They don't talk about it in Ep2 (or?) - so maybe GL learned something.. or maybe they will come in Ep3.

If they're mentioned again it will only be because the twins are tested after birth. The point of midichlorians was to highlight how special Anakin was. They have served their purpose.
