Anyone see this earlier tonight? He mentioned that C3PO and R2 have their memory wiped in episode 3. He also said that most fans know this already. Hopefully, there will be no more of these redundant 'why doesn't 3PO recognize' questions....at least not ad nauseum. rupert

I have a question still though. Why doesn't Vader recognize 3PO and R2? Did he block out everything of his life of Anakin? Actually, come to think of it, does Vader ACTUALLY see C3PO and R2 in the original Triology? I am trying to wrack my brain to think of one scene they are in together in the original. Can anyone think of one? That would also explain why they didn't recognize each other if they never really saw each other.

Yeah, but Vader's comment seemed to compliment what 3PO said. Especially since they both statements happened in succession.
