Jangos Final Battle - was his head in the Helmet?

Ok, maybe the decapitation looked like it did to maintain the PG rating. It almost seemed like there was no head inside the helmet when it was chopped off - Especially when Boba picks it up to look at it.

It almost looked like Jango totally disappeared during the scene and only his armor was left. Maybe playback at slow speed would help when the movie comes out on video.

I was actually thinking the same thing when I saw the head chopped off but I'm guessing you're right about keeping the PG rating. Another thing I noticed was when Anikins arm was chopped off there was absolutely no blood gushing out. It looked pretty bad, almost laughable.

lightsabres immediately cauterize the wound, so no bleeding.

I don't know if that really qualifies as a 'wound'.

oh god don't say he disappeared... now people are gonna speculate that he's a jedi .. hehe

That wasn't true in the Mos Eisley cantina in ANH.

Yeah, like they filmed the scene with a real light saber and some guy really had his head cut off. I don't think the possibly laziness of the special effects department should really factor into that.
