Luke Skywalker has a changed line in the next revamped edition of ESB

'Bad acting runs in my family, Leia. I have it. My mother had it. My father had it. My sister has it.'

Seriously, I don't think it was as bad as some are saying. I felt Hayden was probably a better actor than Hammil. Granted, that's setting the bar low, but when did we ever let subpar acting from a Skywalker get in the way of our enjoyment of a Star Wars movie.

Okay ... young Anakin (forget the actor's name) really pushed it, but you get the idea.

Of all the gin joints in all the world, Matt walks into mine

Funny line, but Nat Portman is actually quite a decent actress, or at least she was in Leon while still very young. I think they should have got someone who has actually enjoyed Star Wars to play Padme, she clearly sees it as just another script (and probably not a great one at that!).

The acting by Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford in ESB was brilliant you have to admit. Best dialogue and acting of all the SW films.

Pauline Kael described the acting in ANH *in general* as 'wooden'. I personally think that much of the acting in the Star Wars films is poor - why is that cheap? It's an honestly held opinion. Unjustified? That's your opinion; which just so happens to be at odds with mine.

He wasn't trying to be a big shot. He was just stating an opinion. 'Regurgitating the BS' - no, stating an opinion which has been shared by others in the past. 'so-called Star Wars fans' - Must one find the Star Wars movies to be *perfect* to be considered a 'true fan'?

1) Read that last paragraph back to yourself. 2) Bearing this image in mind, reread the rest of your post. The aggresive and defensive tone of your post gives the impression that you are a ''lame geek' who takes it all too seriously'. I'm sure you're not, but unreasonable responses such as yours are probably where this 'lame geek' label comes from.

Ciao
