Im a bad boy . . . I saw AOTC this morning

I admit it. I'm a bad boy. But I couldn't control myself. It was sitting there, all pretty, listed on IRC. How could I resist? So I sat back, popped a Pepsi, grabbed some chips, called off of work (my priorities are fine, thank you very much, I didn't want to go in anyway) and watched two hours and a quarter very enjoyable hours.

I can honestly say all of the complaints I've seen are nitpicking for the most part and I can't wait to see the film in a crowded theater and I *really* can't wait until Episode III comes out because there are a number of loose ends left untied, but I can't go into detail because it would mean letting big, ugly, nasty spoilers out of their protective bag.

P.S. As for Yoda, I think Moriarty at AICN put it best: Yoda owns your weak ass, especially at the end.

You need glasses and a hearing aid....this was one of the worst movies of all time let alone those with the Star Wars name on it. I am willing to suspend belief for a good movie/story but lets be honest Lucas took a big hog on this one. Howard the Duck was better. PCC

ok than it was obviously the wrong example But what i meant was that the story of ANH was hardly interesting in my opinion. Plain and simple, yes. And i like it. But it's not interesting because it's nothing to think about. But the new trilogy seems to have an interesting story. At least when it develops. And it seems to develop in EP2, allthough i have to admit, i have only read the book.

Oh. I know what you meant. I just felt like pointing it out. But you are right. The story in ANH is very...plain. IMO. The dialogue and acting is by far the worst in this one.
