Ok, This is a big question, but obviously Vader and Obi-Wan-Kenobi are totally shit lightsaber fighters in 'A New Hope', is that just cos their old? surely not. also how much would you pay to flip natalie over and bone her? My little brother (not a very big fan) said that he would have given AOTC 10/10 if that little minx got flipped over and rodgered.

That and the choreography back then wasn't too well developed. Oh...and the special effect technology wasn't that great either..so it may have been realllyyyy tough to make a complicated lightsaber fightscene.
As to your other question...why flip her over? Hell, I'd bone her in any position.

Heh, yeah that too. But hey, people seem to be all over making up 'story reasons' for laziness or inability on the part of the producers of a movie so It must be age of those Jedi.

It's because Lucas had no clue on how to choreograph a fight scene. It's pretty important to remember the limits each movie had, and in this one, Lucas simply had no clue. It was still well done, considering, it got the point across..
Zero. Why pay? It cheapens it. The key is to get her to want to be with you...THAT has value...
