Right now I am hurting with a 366, 128 meg Voodoo 3 laden slug that can barely run Jedi Outcast. I have been out of the computer hardware loop for a while, and would like to know if someone could help me out. What sort of computer should I be running to play Outcast the best (or pretty good) for the most reasonable price. What processor, memory and video card do you guys suggest? I'm not looking for a ninja system, just something that'll run nicely for the next year or two. Thanks for any help!

I have a p2 450 with 384 mb of ram. My video card is an all in wonder radieon. It runs on my system, but it takes forever to load the maps. My friends all have systems that are over 1 gigahertz and have no problems(but why would you then)

I play JO on my AMD 1.4GHz, 256DDR and Geforce3 64DDR, and ofcourse, it runs beautiful. So I suggest, the bigger the better. But isn't the recommended system not on the box? *looking at box*: No it isn't. I reccomend you at least double your CPU, buy a new VGA card and, maybe, maybe upgrade your RAM, cause 128 should be adequate.

Yeah, I definately want to do the best upgrade I can. Problem is, I have to walk that fine point of buying something that will last for a while at a reasonable price. I know that they're are Geforce 4's out, but are the 3's okay? I can get the 420 for about 169$ canadian here, which is a good price. Is 1.4 GHz a pretty good processor?
