I had posted earlier a question as to where Palpatine is from.... and I figured that since he was the Senator for Naboo that he was from the PLANET Naboo.... but, I may be wrong - he is the senator from the SYSTEM of Naboo..... not necessarily the same planet..... oh, well... more damn monkey wrenches in the machine.

Given conditions to sustain Human-like life (Palpetine), chances are there is only one planet in the Naboo system he could possibly live on. Possibly two I suppose. Also if the planet and system are named the same thing, the system is probably named after it's primary life sustaining planet.

It is posiable that 1 senator represents several systems. Not very likely given AOTC. And just because he represented Nabo does not mean he was born there. You do not have the be born in a state to run for the Senate from it, just ask Hilary.
