Royal Empire Guars in Crimson are there, protecting Palpatine, I think that's evidence that Palpatine is the emperor later and Dark Sidius, don't think about clones, cos Emperor used when his body gets old enought, or when his body dies.

I've never subscribed to such theories but there are people who think it's a possibility. Palpatine's just an evil man who knows that nobody would knowingly vote for a Sith Lord as Chancellor and so adopts the guise of a noble old man to gain power. Once he is in a position to declare himself Emperor and has a vast army at his command he can drop all pretence of being nice and do whatever he wishes.
