I guess that's as good as it gets. However, it's also possible that R2D2 survives or escapes a memory wipe. In ANH, he certainly seems to know Obi-Wan and starts heading to his house. Also, he always seems to know more than he lets on - perhaps that's due to discretion learnt in the diplomatic service of Queen/Senator Amidala and Princess Leia.

As always at Force.net, they white-out spoiler sensitive material by making it the same color as the background, so you have to drag a selection over the spoiler text to read it.

I thought that was an odd use of white space. It may explain why some of the articals that come up on a search do not seem to have anyting to do with the search criteria.
