Well firstly, you shouldn't be posting binaries in here, binaries go in alt.binaries.starwars.

Secondly, the story behind the photos is that in ESB the Rebels were having problems with those large snow creatures, Wampa's I think there called. The one that attacks Luke at the beginning.

Anyway, the Rebels supposedly had caught some of these creatures in the Rebel Base and put them in a room.

Later on when the base is being overrun by Snow Troopers 3PO rips the sign off the door which indicates a hazard on the other side of the door.

In a later scene Snow Troopers would have opened the door to have a look inside and, I guess, gotten attacked by Wampa's.

Go ahead 'Greg Wishart', make my day...

C-3PO: Now remember Chewbacca, you have a responsibility to me so don't do anything foolish.

This line is much clearer in the Special Edition.

Those pix of 3PO are from a deleted scene in ESB. As he was escaping to the Falcon, he pulls warning tags off a door containing a 'pen' where the Rebels have some (what was that thing that f*cked up Luke at the beginning of the film - carnivore yeti?) Anyway, storm troopers arrive and open the door and are attacked by escaping Hoth Yeti.

Why Lucas pulled the scene, I don't know.

But that's the true story. As Jar-Jar would say, 'That's no stink of it.'

I imagine it was never finished properly, in the orginal version of ESB we only see quick glimses of the Wampa, that was probably cut down for the same reason since it was extended for the SE's.
