Top 10 Reasons to Boycott Starwars Episode 2, Attack of the Clones:

10. George Lucas had 15 years to make a new Star Wars movie. The best he could come up with was The Phantom Menace. For Attack Of The Clones, he only had 3 years to make it. 9. Jar Jar Binks is in it. 8. 'NSync were filmed for a cameo that may be included in the movie. 7. The Phantom Menace broke box office records and made another mountain of money for George Lucas. As far as he's concerned, nothing was wrong with the Phantom Menace. Therefore, there is no motivation for him to do a better job on Attack of the Clones. 6. This time, George Lucas, master of incredibly bad dialog, has written a love story. 5. Once again, George Lucas, a man way passed his prime, has complete creative control over the entire production of the movie. In other words, no one will ever say, 'George, I think that's a bad idea.' 4. John Williams, another man way past his prime, is once again scoring the movie. This is a guy who wrote some of the most memorable themes in movie history in the 70's and 80's. I challenge you to hum one melody he's written in the last 15 years. Special note: Was it just me, or was the score to Saving Private Ryan completely sappy to the point of being distracting? 3. As evident in the re-release of the first 3 movies and especially in The Phantom Menace, Lucas is much more interested in animation than photography. The results are drawn in looking characters that don't really interact with real actors. 2. George Lucas co-wrote the script with some guy named Jonathan Hales who's big claim to fame is writing a few episodes of the forgettable TV show, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. 1. It's time to take the power back. If you had complaints about The Phantom Menace, show Lucas that you won't give him anymore of your money until he creates a movie of quality. I know that you've loved Star Wars since you were a kid, but get over it. There is no chance that this movie is going to be good. Don't give George Lucas your money!

I take your point on TPM (or at least partly) but the sanskrit track on the soundtrack which i believe is when Darth Maul is fighting the two Jedi is very hummable. Anyway i can think of 2 good reasons to watch the film.

1) It may be rather good. 2) I like Star Wars.

Top 2 Reasons NOT to Boycott Starwars Episode 2, Attack of the Clones:

1. Some moron calling him/herself 'The Magical Monkey' told you to boycott it, giving ten stupidly inane reason. One or two other morons have already said the same thing and been totally ignored.

2. You've got your own brain with more capacity than the dead snail these fools have.

TPM was a very good movie. How many years did it take George to make ANH...?

So....he may be a little annoying but he wasn't the whole movie. 8. 'NSync were filmed for a cameo that may be included in the movie. They'll be killed off and you won't even know it was them...

TPM was fine...George will continue to make even more money because those who didn't like TPM were a minority ( based on the near Billion dollars it made on the big screen)...the rest of the fans will flock to see it and I will not be surprised when it beats Titanic for top movie.

Based on the last trailer, it seems that there will be more than enough action in it..

It would appear to me that Lucas is again trying to prove that he is the leader, not the follower although I agree that there were some characters that were better when they were 'puppets' ( ie Jabba)...

Thank you for your opinion...we'll see if people share the same thought process as you come May 17 and we see the opening night gate receipts. I will be there for the first showing, as will the same group of my friends ( about 20 of us) who attended May 31st 1999 for TPM.
