Bizarre question about Anakins hand...

When I saw AOTC on opening day, i remember the scene at the end where you see Anakin's new hand for the first time. All I recall is a shot of him moving (twitching) his mechanical fingers. When I saw it again tonight (on a digital projector, which rocked, btw), the scene was of Anakin's hand taking Padme's hand. Did I simply recall my first viewing incorrectly, or is there actually a difference between the analog and digital presentations? Yes, this is keeping me up tonight

thats interesting, maye there are 2 cuts......the version I saw just had him clenching a mechanical fist....

he is using the other hand.

Second viewing (on celluloid), I noticed Anakin taking Padme's hand in a long shot. This is followed by a head-and-shoulders closeup of them kissing, and then a close-up of the mechanical hand.

Yes, apparently there is; I've seen this mentioned in another post.

only one hand was cut off there fore one hand is mechanical so how can he use the other hand which you are saying, is also mechanical.

Wow! I thought I'd lost my mind! I wonder why in the world Lucas did that...perhaps as a reward to those who went through the trouble of seeing digital? Thanks for the confirmation. I'll be seeing it again in analog, and I'll pay VERY close attention to this.
