We see lots of people in the Star Wars having names that aren't so common in our world. Names such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Qon Jinn (propable waaaayyy misspelled :->, Yoda, Palpatine, Leia, Mace Windu, Anakin etc. So what the H*CK Obi-Wan starts using the name Ben! Where did that come from?! There isn't propably any 'normal' (anglo-american) name in Star Wars universe and the guy starts calling himself Ben. :

Leah is a Hebrew name, being the wife of one of the three patriarchs Abraham, Isaac or Jacob. I can't remember which one exactly. So technically this name is about 3000 years old!
