Did everyone laugh when Amidala fell out of the ship on to the sand and when asked if she was OK she just got up and said 'Yes!'? No sign of being a bit shaken at all. The whole cinema laughed at this when I saw it.

hehehe. Nice one. She was shaken from the fall but otherwise unhurt. She started stirrring before the trooper got to her and when she realized what needed to be done she got to it. As Anakin said 'she would do her duty.'

Yep, exactly. On second viewing a lot of those little things that caused audience laughter the first time made more sense IMO. Perhaps that one could've been done better if there was a close up on her face at the time, showing that she was coming to.

I am in Chicago and the same laughing happened during Anakins dream scene. Because it is after a romantic scene with Padme, I am guessig people thought he was getting head??

I do not think she was knocked out, more likely when soneone fall like that there is atendancy to not want to move untill your brain has had a chance to process what just happened, and deside weather or not anything is broken.

Yeah, we were laughing. The scene was really stupid. She was even GROANING or moaning or something that sounded painful, and then as soon as the guy asks her, the pain erases from her face and she perkily jumped up... really
