Specifically, Dr. No, I would say.
I was thinking The Fifth Element.
I wasn't sure on that one.
Yes, that was unmistakable.
And those big animals... at first they looked like they were boulders, if not hills. Maybe he *is* Mel Brooks in disguise.

There's just one thing I want to know, and maybe someone who's already seen the movie can tell me...what part of the movie was ripped off from

ALL the Star Wars movies (and MOST other movies) borrow bits and pieces from other movies.

Sound of Music. Haha. Funny. Anyways, all those movies you listed can also be called thieves of other films. You think Gladiator is the first film that had a battle arena with people fighting and animals attacking?

Oh, of course AI was borrowing from Blade Runner , but the bar set and the street outside just reminded me very strongly of the 'pleasure city' sets from A.I. Maybe it's because I've seen that more recently, though.

None of these particularly bothered me, and many of these aren't particularly rip-offs. The most direct lifting from another film is the conveyor belt scene's similarity to a scene in 'Chicken Run'.
