Possible Spoilers....

1) Why is every Sith more powerful than the Jedi? I know it's a very common plot device; the bad guys are stronger but good overcomes them with goodness or something, but christ...it's getting annoying to see the Jedi get thrown around like rag dolls. Even Yoda was just barely holding his own with Dooku, in both the lightsaber duel and the force duel.

2) Or maybe #1 has something to do with what Yoda and Mace discuss about their diminished power? Was it just because Sidious was there clouding it, or is there something actually screwed up with the force?

3) What this prophecy about one of Obi-Wan's pupils restoring balance to the force? Any place I can get the exact wording to said prophecy? And where does this prophecy first get mentioned?

4) It's been ten years. Hasn't everyone already figured out that Amidala uses decoys and body doubles and whatnot?

5) Who was yelling 'Anakin, no Anakin, no....' when he was slaughtering all those creatures that killed his mother?

I think that what is needed is a balanced draw between the light and dark side of the Force. In ANH, Good Obi-Wan is beaten by Bad Vader. In ESB, Good Luke is defeated by Bad Vader. In ROTJ, Bad Vader is Beaten by Good/Bad Luke, and then Bad Emperor is defeated by Bad/Good Vader. In TPM, Good Qui-gon is killed by Bad Maul. Bad Maul is defeated by Good/Bad Obi-Wan. In AOTC, Bad (?) Dooku defeats (mostly) Good Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Yoda.

This element puzzled me in the original films. As soon as the 'Balance of the Force' was mentioned in TPM, the light bulb went off over my head. Its like the classic episode of Star Trek where Kirk was split into his 'good' and 'bad' halves. It wasn't the case of the Good had to get rid of the Bad - he had to be both to be a good leader.

This is possible too, but I prefer the above

Its not one of Obi-Wan's pupils, just one who will one day restore balance to the Force

Apparently not. Or sometimes she does, or just started doing it again due to the other recent assasination attempts.

Go ahead 'Jon Look', make my day...

When asked by Luke if the dark side is stronger Yoda tells him no. That's true but the Jedi follow the rules which the Sith don't. Anybody who will stop at nothing to achieve their goals will seem more powerful than somebody else who is bound by a moral code. Nice guys finish last.

There's a little of that, sure. Sidious wasn't necessarily clouding it actively but his very existence and use of the dark side was causing a major imbalance.

The exact wording and meaning of the prophecy is unknow. It was first mentioned in TPM.

Qui-Gon: It's possible he was conceived by the midichlorians. Mace Windu: You refer to the prophecy of the one who will bring balance to the Force. You believe it's this boy?

Perhaps somebody forgot to tell Zam.

Obi-Wan's former master Qui-Gon Jinn.

Because the bad guy is always more powerful (at first) than the good guy. The only place this is not true, as the Cartoon Network says in the commercial, is Dragonball Z, where the bad guy is the underdog.

Maybe because the power of the light side is divided between thoughsands of Jedi. Too many users cloging the band width. This could explain why Luke was strong enough to defeat Vader, he had all the light.
