AOTC question

In AOTC, after Yoda arrives with the clone army to save the remaining Jedis, I thought that I heard Dooku mutter seemingly preplexedly 'How did they raise an army so quickly?'. Did I hear that or dream it? If so, I don't understand why he would ask that question since it was he who recruited Jango Fett as the clone basis for the army.

Dooku must have known about the army even if he wasn't the actual guy who recruited Jango. The Jedi said all that stuff about the dark side and that their own ability to use the force is diminished if they could not see the army. That probably means that the Sith could detect the army through the force, so either way Dooku had to know about it.

I think it was the Trade Federation Viceroy that asked how they raised the army so quickly.

That's possible but Jango Fett went to Geonosis only because he had been discovered by Obi-Wan. Surely the first thing he would have done upon arrival was report this fact to Dooku?
