In Episode IV, Ben tells Luke 'I thought I could train him as well as Yoda. I was wrong'.

In Episode II, we learn that Dooku was Yoda's Padawan. So Yoda trained him and he ended up going to the dark side anyway, just like Anakin.

'Darkfalz'

Dooku was one of the 'Lost 20'... left of his own accord...

Yoda has hundreds of trainees (implied from epI, epII and epVI). Remember a padawan is a trained Jedi, that has been seconded to a Jedi Knight before being accepted for the trials.

Go ahead 'Darkfalz', make my day...

Episode VI.

It's neither a goof nor a plot hole. Yoda's record is 1 Padawan turned to the dark side out of many thousands. Obi-Wan's record is 1 Padawan turned to the dark side out of 1. Yoda's Padawan turned to the dark side many years after he finished teaching him, years after Dooku had taken on an apprentice of his own. I'd say Yoda was someone to aspire to be.

Da

The Republic. Acording to the tech specs, poor old R4 is hardwired to the fighter.

That fighter was used by Obi-Wan but he didn't own it nor did he own the droid. It was a Jedi starfighter owned by the Republic.

And if you read the book... that R4 droid is hard wired into the fighter, and not mobile like R2D2
