AI aliens?

Did the aliens that created the clone army look immensely similar to those at the end of AI?

Yes, I thought that too... so does that mean at the end of Episode III, those aliens are going to reunite Anakin and his mother for one day?

(Side note: the creatures at the end of AI aren't aliens... they're further advanced artificial intelligent beings.)

I thought the exact same thing when I saw them .

I thought they looked like that too. Kind of creepy, but the ones in A.I. are creepier. Really, so the ones in A.I. aren't aliens?

What? Of course they are! They are doing an archeological dig on the frozen earth.

Because that was the whole point of AI... to show the evolution of artificial intelligence from Teddy to David to the advanced beings at the end of the movie, essentially from a toy to a god. They even say so much when one says David is a first-generation AI (he was created by humans) implying that they are all next-generation (AI created by AI). Not to mention, there's dialogue throughout the film that says AI will exist long after man is gone. The story has a circular structure... man creates AI at the beginning, AI creates man at the end.

Watch the movie again... it's actually much, much better the second time

I'd say they look more like Grey's from Close Encounter of the 3rd kind.... which AI aliens look more like too..
