I *am* tempted to try to sit through it again - I honestly couldn't watch it the first time because it actually got me so annoyed.
I know it's been said before, but Jar Jar Binks..........
Anyhoo - I'm going to make a point of watching it when it is shown next week on tessestrial.

Of all the gin joints in all the world, daddy doctor's son punk rocker walks into mine
It is still a very poor film, though. Like i've said before TPM was just there to set the scene.

Yeah, I noticed this. Even as I was watching AOTC. I think one of the reasons I disliked TPM was that it was so farfetched from the Star Wars universe I know and love, but AOTC shows more linkage, and the path from TPM to ANH is beginning to become clear.

I'm the opposite. I think now that I've seen AOTC I can see just how much better TPM would have been had they approached it differently.

There are aspects of TPM that I can appreciate now (Padme/Anakin), but after seeing AOTC I think it's been bumped down to my 5th favourite Star Wars film. Cheers.
