A word about GL

If he thinks he will release the OT DVDs with no original versions, that would be a supreme insult to our historical memory, at least most of us have seen the original trilogy. I will not buy them if he does not include original versions.

Then why do so many people keep saying it?

What's it to you?

They can say what they want. But when the time comes, we'll all buy whatever is released. We aren't even going to get the Special Editions, as they are now, on DVD. George is improving, or 'finishing off' the OT, so why would he want to release, what he considers the 'inferior' version? He's spent too much time and money 'fixing' them.

Are you also under the sad dillusion that George reads what happens in these newsgroups, or even cares? He'll do whatever he wants to do, and he has that luxury.
