In all the previous fils, wh've seen pretty much 3 locations.
EP1 ) Naboo, Courascant, Tatooine
EP4 ) tatooine, Death Star, Yavin Ep5 ) Hoth,, Bespin, Degobah Ep6 ) Tatooine, Dagobah, Endor
In Ep2, it breaks away from this, We see Coursant, Naboo, Kamino, Genoisis.
Now depite the similarities that GL had built into the preguals, Has anyone noticed this extra Scene location?? Now Im going from verbatim, But I do remenber GL having an interview where he said its always best for 3 locations, otherwise it confuces the audience. So, anyone got an idea?

OK, IM slightly drunk....
Its still a location of where things took place.
Ooh yeah, Forgot about that completly.
err, Yup, Special Editions they do, & Prob the Special, Special Editions probably have more, Just because they can!!
Very good spottings, Seems the the full view is 5. But still, It could be argueed, that the Executer (In both 5 & 6 are seen relativly little of, compaired to the other locations.
But, seems the old idea of 3 per film is now superceeded.

You've a few spelling errors, so note the correct ones below. Death Star is a spacestation, does that really count....
epI has 3, as you have put, but you would then have to include the Droid control ship, taking it to 4.
epII has 5; Coruscant, Naboo, Kamino, Geonasis, and Tatooine.
epIV will eventually have 5 as Coruscant and Alderaan will be included (Yavin IV is the planet, the scenes are on the moon of Yavin IV).
epV also has 3; Hoth, Bespin, Dagobah, but you would have to also include Star Destoyer 'Executor', and the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser, taking it to 5?
epVI also has 3; Tatooine, Dagobah and the moon of Endor (not the planet). Again, you would need to include the Executor and Death Star II, taking it to 5?
I think it is safe to say there will be 5 'locations' in epIII...

Yup. My Mistake, we do. in fact, this now makes it 5 rather than 3! Cant belive I missed out tatooine! (But I did Ah well, its late night!!!!)
Even so, EP2 takes a complete departure away from the othere showing only 3 locations, Now OK< If its me making the film, i dont see how I could have it with less than the 5 (maybe showing 4 at a push, But it would have bee very dodgy!) But Where as the rest have stuck with 3 & Ep2 with 5, is thing something showing here?
Where next for Ep3?
Personally, I would have liked just 3 locations as it would fit in with the others, & It seems that ep2 somehows contains some things that shoudl have been in Ep1 (OK< Dont ask me which ones & how, But if there was, it would have made the follow on for EP2 from Ep1 easier, Perhaps a Speical Edition of EP1 where Sideous (Or who ever it is, mentions clones? - Obi Wan does a grand job of being surprised, Bur watch the original Trilogy - Either before or just after a scene an explanaion was given for why it the previous (Or following) was. Something missing in Ep1 & 2
Though Ep2 might have etra things explained during Ep3 (as Ep1 had things explained during Ep3) It still leaves with the problem... Ep 4 - 6 Had plots that readily followed on internally, What major cliff hangers where left in Ep4 to Ep5& from Ep5 to Ep6???
Granted the ending for Ep4 (At the time) had to end at that point (in case SW wasnt caried on)
But after Ep5, There was Han in Carbonite, Luke becoming the Jedi, Leia with the love for Han, Chewie & Lando Going searching for Han, & If its to be belived, that Ep 6 was ended suddenley, (& Hench no mention of Ep7 - 9 (& No I dont want to get into that) Either way, It was a closing of most of the loose ends.
But Ep1 left far too many loose ends that should have been closed. EP2 also has left ending unclosed, (granted they should be expained in Ep3) But gong from the original Tri, There where no such loose ends.
So, How does EP2 & Ep1 ( EP1 makes a bit more sense seeing Ep2) sppear in the style of the original Trilogy?? Not the same Ill say. Ill let pass the obvious errors relating to Ep4 & Onwards, from what Ep1 & 2 tell us but even so.
It does appear GL has now taken right from the start of EP1, to make a 3 part series, as opposed to how it was orignally put as 1 film at a time, with no Guarenties that it would have continued.

I thought the planet was called Yavin and Yavin 4 is the 4th moon of Yavin.

Just to be accurate, Endor is the name of the moon itself, contrary to what anyone likes to believe. I fail to see why people would argue, or ignore, that Vader states, 'A small Rebel force has penetrated the shield and landed *on* Endor.' Perhaps Endor is the planet, too, but nonetheless, the fact remains that Endor is also the forrest moon with Ewoks running rampant all over it.
