3 Head stones?

As much discussion as I have seen on here about AOTC and the other SW episodes why has there been almost no mention of the 3 head stones seen when Anakin burries his mother Shmi on Tatoinne (spelling?) I guess an easy explaination of the other 2 head stones is that it was like a graveyard, lots of other head stones around. That would seem too simple an explaintion seeing as how almost every detail in the Star Wars universe has a reason. Another easy explanation could be that they were simply previous family members that have died. Again too simple and explanation. A third possible reason would be some of the rescue party that went after her. Clieg Lars said that 30 went out after her and that only 4 came back (I think those numbers are right). So are the other 2 head stones from the search party?

Any comments or speculation is welcome.

Probably other family members. I think you're reading into the situation too much. If there were only one headstone for Anakin's Mother... the scene would look too desolate and bare... and people would wonder 'why bury here there?' : )

Maybe one of the headstones marks the place where Cliegg buried his leg...that egotistical bastard.

Obviously you need to work on your reading comprehension and thought processes, this has been asked many times since the movie came out.

So? do you think that everybody in the world will read every post ever written here? Try to be a little realistic and consider others don't spend 24 hrs a day 7 days a week reading this news group like you. My question is why aren't these headstones visible in A New Hope? They seem to be in a location where you would spot them in the later movie.

very good point, it seems to me they were pretty much where the Sandcrawler parks in ANH..... i guess a simple answer would be that Owen moves them to stop Luke asking questions.

But assuming one of those headstones is Owens Ma... i don't think he'd do that, then again of course were only guessing at whose they are.....
