My son and I just went back for the 2nd time this afternoon - as I posted in an earlier thread to Venger, Yoda's part out of many was definitely the highlight of the movie. There were whistles, applauding, and the like for this.
I wanted to say that the 2nd viewing far surpassed the first. The first one had so much going on and it went by so fast, you missed a lot. The 2nd time was much better.

That's why it doesn't bother me too much having read the book first. Makes the first viewing a bit easier to watch for cool stuff.

Odd. My second viewing wasn't nearly as thrilling as the first. My guess is that it's cause it was in an older theater. The sound was weaker so the overall effect of the sounds effects weren't as powerful. And the weaknesses of the dialogue and this cheap lovestory between Amidala and Anakin really bugged me. I think it has to do with the fact that I was less involved into the movie because of the previous point I discussed. I'll still go back a third and final (probably) time to the same theater as the first viewing. To be continued...

I agree. What's even better than the 2nd time, however, is the 5th! This film is great.
